The magazine Blinker is published monthly. The main focus is on fishing practice. Editor-in-chief Rolf Schwarzer and 11 editors (for the print and online edition) and about 40 freelancers report from the world of fishing and give many expert tips. The name refers to the so-called „Blinker“, which is a lure, which is mainly used to catch pike. The fishing magazine is very practice-related, you get a lot of information about product news of fishing tackle such as artificial lures, nets or rods. There are reviews about fishing tackle and a catch report and you learn about seasons, minimum mass and catch limits. Every month, a different species of fish comes into focus, in detailed portraits you learn everything about the appearance and behavior of pike, zander, carp and Co.
